The Pentek S1 replaces the following water filters:

The American Plumber W20CLa, US Filter, Ametek Pentek, S1 Whole House Filter Cartridge removes sand, dirt, silt, rust, and scale particles from your household water. This pleated cellulose cartridge has a high capacity for holding dirt for longer filter life, and is also known as part number S1 155001 Pentek, Ametek, Culligan, US Filter. The S1 is also a direct replacement for filter WHCF-WHPL or WHKF-WHPL by Whirlpool, PCSL-S1, PS-S1 and the GE FXWPC.

The American Plumber W20CLa, US Filter, Ametek S1 water filter needs to be changed every 4 months and is not recommended for use with well water. The S1 is used in filter housing W34-PR and W34PR, as well as other standard 10 inch filter housings.
