The Spacegard 2400 / Aprilaire 2400 Upgrade Kit allows owners to use the MERV 13 Aprilaire 413 Filter instead of their MERV 10 Aprilaire 401 Filter. This improves air cleaning performance by 65 percent and reduces almost twice as many contaminants.

This Aprilaire Upgrade Kit features a snap-together frame to accomodate the new Aprilaire 413 Filter Replacement (included). This kit also eliminates the need for the pleat spacers.
The Aprilaire 413 Filter Replacement captures pollen and mold spores (up to 90%), dust (up to 90%), fungi, pet dander and other airborne allergens from your air. It is an upgrade over the Aprilaire 401 air filter because this MERV 13 filter also captures bacteria and virus carrying particles (75%).
Because this is a genuine Aprilaire filter media replacement, it features Aprilaire's patented SelfSeal to ensure a proper seal and easy installation.
