AprilAire 35 Replacement Water Panel Humidifier Filter

Keep your evaporative humidifier operating effectively with the AprilAire 35 Replacement Water Panel Humidifier Filter. The water panel slides into the scale control insert and water distribution tray, where it begins to absorb water. The aluminum mesh features a porous ceramic-type coating for enhanced absorption. Once saturated, the humidifier moves air through the filter which adds humidity to the room. Humidifiers are great for preventing mold and fungus growth, and alleviating cold weather symptoms such as cracked lips, bloody noses, sinus irritation, coughing and more. Note: The coating on the AprilAire 35 water panel is a proprietary clay slip mixture similar to other ceramics. It does not contain any fungicide, algaecide or biocide.

How do you install the AprilAire 35?

1. Before replacement on all humidifiers, note humidifier control setting and turn dial to the OFF position.
2. Move bypass damper to summer position, and press the tabs at top and bottom and pull cover off base.
3. Clean distribution tray per instructions, and clean scale control insert using vinegar solution.
4. Remove old AprilAire 35.
5. Insert color side up; Inspect the plastic feed tube by gently ?exing it and looking for cracks or signs of wear. Replace tube if it is cracked, brittle, or has been damaged.
6. Re-insert the water panel evaporative assembly and snap the cover back on the connect drain line. If the drain line cannot be cleaned, replace ADHC: (Automatic or Manual mode).
7. Check system operation by turning the knob to TEST. With furnace blower operating, the humidifier will operate for one minute. DO NOT LEAVE IN TEST MODE AS HUMIDIFIER WILL NOT OPERATE.
8. For controls with the change water panel indicator light, turning knob to TEST/RESET will reset the indicator manual humidifier control.
9. Turn on the furnace blower at the thermostat. Set knob to highest setting (may or may not run depending on humidity).
10. Set humidifier control to original position. For bypass, set to appropriate position.

THE APRILAIRE HUMIDIFIER PAD WORKS. DON'T SETTLE FOR THE KNOCK-OFF HUMIDIFER PAD. Filters Fast was out of the AprilAire humidifier pad when I visited the website, so I ordered the Filters Fast cheap Chinese knock-off model. The knock-off was NOT the size advertised on the website or on the knock-off's own packaging. It was a half-inch short, which meant that water did not flow through the filter, it dripped or sprayed, then splattered as it hit the filter. Water flowed freely out of the humidifier housing to the nearby floor drain. On the bright side of things, FiltersFast does stand behind their products. They refunded my purchase price for the knock-off, so I'm still pretty happy with them. And I get their knock-off air filter for my Carrier furnace. Just be careful, and if FiltersFast is out of the AprilAire brand humidifier pad, wait till they restock, then order the good one.
