Collected by Trustpilot.comThis is a great filter, fits perfectly in my Whirlpool Air Purifier Whispure 450, been using it for a year now and ordering my second one. It is half the price of the Whirlpool version and only difference is the frame is made of cardboard and Whirlpool is made of plastic. The truth is you don't need the plastic frame just adds cost and no benefits. One thing you do notice with this is because it is cardboard frame you can feel the weight difference between the old filter and the new one, the filter that was running 24/7 for 12 months (and replacing the charcoal pre-filter every 3 months.) is about 2-3x heavier than new filter. That shows how much pollutants it filtered out of the air. Again, don't be worried about this filter over the OEM filter, it is just as good and doesn't add plastic to the landfill when you throw it out. My guess is the entire filter will decompose in landfill where the OEM filters plastic frame will last longer than you will in landfill.
