Start by selecting the filter dimensions, noting that the height refers to the smaller measurement. Then, choose the MERV rating that corresponds to the desired level of filter performance. Please make sure that you enter the correct dimensions below as we do not allow returns on custom air filters.

How to Measure for a Custom-Size Air Filter:
Always measure the existing filter that fits properly rather than estimating its actual size, and verify that those dimensions will fit the opening.
Ensure that you select the actual measurements of the short and long sides, not the size printed on its frame.
Custom filters are manufactured based on the short- and long-side dimensions you select, with a manufacturing tolerance of up to 1/8" on each side.
Understanding Nominal vs. Actual Size:
Nominal Size: The size printed on a filter's frame (e.g., 20"x25"x1").
Actual Size: The filter's true measurements. Standard-size filters typically measure about 1/2" less than their nominal size on both the short and long sides. For example, a 20"x25" filter measures about 19 1/2"x24 1/2". You do not need to subtract 1/2" from your measurements when ordering a custom filter.
Our custom air filters are available in the following nominal thicknesses:
1" (actual thickness: 3/4"): Available in cases of 6.
2" (actual thickness: 1 3/4"): Available in cases of 6.
4" (actual thickness: 3 5/8"): Available in cases of 3.
How to Order:
1. Using the actual measurements of the existing filter, select the Short Side, Long Side, and Thick Side measurements of your filter.
2. Choose how many cases you need.
3. Select your MERV rating: MERV 8, 11, or 13.
4. Review your dimensions, quantity, and total, and click Add To Cart.

EfficiencyMERV, or Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value, indicates when a filter will be least efficient. So the higher the MERV rating, the more efficient the filter. It should be noted that most fiberglass spun filters such as those found in your local grocery store are usually only a MERV 1 or MERV 2. This can affect the efficiency and air flow of your heating and cooling system, causing it to work harder to produce the same air flow and costing you more money! The Filters Fast MERV 8, 11, and 13 Filter features a low pressure drop, which means less impact on your energy use, which again will save you money!
Quality Construction and CapacityThe Filters Fast MERV 8, 11, and 13 filter is constructed of a galvanized, corrosion resistant metal support grid and 100% electrostatically charged synthetic graded density media. The media used is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and will not absorb moisture, which can support microbial growth.
The Filters Fast MERV 8, 11, and 13 filter's pleats are designed in a way to promote maximum surface area and dust holding capacity. The pleats are actually bonded to the frame to prevent any dust bypass. This means higher efficiency and air quality. These filters have 15 pleats per lineal foot which creates a greater surface area to catch airborne particles than standard filters. That also means that in most cases you don't have to change them as frequently!
