The Hydronix 10" String Filter is the same quality filter as the Liquatec SWF-45-10100 Sediment Filter. This string wound filter reduces particles up to 100 microns and is ideal for commercial, as well as residential applications. Made of 100% polypropylene fiber cord, the Hydronix string water filter has a higher flow rate and dirt holding capacity than standard size string sediment filters. Also known as part number SWC-45-10100 reduces waterborne contaminants such as sand, scale, rust, dirt and silt.

Various wound patterns for different micron ratings will ensure that you are getting the right water filter for your specific application. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SWF-45-10100, this Hydronix string wound cartridge also replaces the Pentek 355221-43 Filter. This string filter can be used with municipal and well water. It is recommended that you do not use this filter with water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe without proper disinfection.
