Hydronix 20" Pleated Sediment Filter - 5 Micron 20-Pack

The Hydronix SPC-25-2005 20" Pleated Sediment Filter 20-Pack is an economical replacement for the Liquatec SPF-25-2005. Resistant to bacteria and chemicals, this filter effectively reduces waterborne particles and contaminants like sand, rust, silt and sediment as small as 5 microns. Made from durable non-woven polyester, this pleated filter is reusable, durable and washable. Also known as part number SPC-25-2005, the dirt holding capacity extends the time between filter changes. In addition to replacing the Liquatec SPF-25-2005, this Hydronix 20" sediment filter also replaces the Pentek 255486-43 and Watts FM-5-20.

Do not use water that is of unknown quality or is microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection. The media around the polypropylene core is pleated for additional strength. The ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. Embedding and sealing each end of the pleat, fuses the three components together to form a unified gasket and end cap. This pleated cartridge is ideal for various commercial, residential and industrial applications.

This Hydronix sediment cartridge has a flow rate of 20 gallons per minute. The temperature capacity ranges from 40 degrees to 125 °F (4.4 to 51.7 degrees Celsius). The Hydronix SPC-25-2005 pleated filter fits standard water filter housings requiring a 20" x 2 1/2" media.
