The Pentek CC-20 Coconut GAC Filter Cartridge is part of the CC Series of Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon Cartridges. This GAC Cartridge Filter reduces odor and chlorine while improving taste. The 20 micron post filter of the Pentek CC-20 reduces carbon fines from your drinking water. This cartridge is also known as part number CC-20. The maximum temperature rating for the Pentek CC-20 GAC Filter Cartridge is 125 degrees Fahrenheit.

This GAC cartridge reduces certain VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) and chemical MTBE (Methyl Tertiary-Butyl Ether) that can enter your ground water from a variety of sources. The construction of this granular activated carbon filter allows water to enter through one end then travels the entire length of the carbon bed before exiting. An internal expansion pad minimizes bypass or channeling.
