The Skuttle 592-22 is a humidifier that can be used in the following specialized applications ONLY:

• Residences or Light Commercial Buildings with Fossil Fuel Furnaces, Water Hardness of <7 grains, and Water Pressure of 40 PSI or Higher

The Skuttle 592-22 Spray Humidifier System can only be used in residences or light commercial locations using fossil fuel furnaces, and have a water hardness of less than 7 grains with a water pressure of 40 PSI or higher. Skuttle 592-22 humidifier systems are designed to be mounted on the supply air plenum just above the cooling coil on a forced-air, gas or fuel oil heating system. This small Skuttle humidifier system sprays water into the supply air stream of the heating system. Optimum humidifier efficiency and performance depends upon the hardness of your water, tightness of your home, and other external factors.

The Skuttle 592-22 Humidifier System includes a standard, durable, stainless steel, 0.5 GPH atomizing nozzle that allows customized humidification and is easy to replace. A 0.37 GPH atomizing nozzle is also available. This Skuttle humidifier also has a green indicator light that easily shows whether the humidifier unit is operating or not. The humifier's inline water filter ensures dependable and long-term operation, while a copper catch basin collects any excess water drainage.

There must be at least 6 feet of straight, unimpeded ductwork after the spray nozzle, and no dead air spice in the duct-work within 6 feet of the spray nozzle for unevaporated water to collect.
