The Zander 2050XP High Pressure Filter Element is an oil removal filter designed for compressed air and technical gases. Most oil comes from compressor lubrication carry-over, although the air produced by oil-free compressors has hydrocarbon contamination brought into the system through the intake. Solid particulates that are combined with aerosols of water and oil can clog and shorten the life of your air system componentry. Also known as part number 2050XP, the Zander Air Compressor Element has high dirt holding capacity and integrated pre-filtration that helps to reduce your energy costs. The filter fleece uses several filtration mechanisms that are removed from the air or gas flow trapping impurities such as particulates and residual moisture like aerosols.

Pleating is one of the production phases of this Zander High Pressure Element where the filter fleece is mechanically pleated. This pleated and multilayered filter fleece is made from a non-shedding material with a void volume of up to 96% and surrounded by an additional filter with supporting material.
