This Aquasana Countertop Water Filter System uses a dual filtration system that includes activated carbon that reduces organic chemicals like herbicides, pesticides, VOCs and MTBE. It also features catalytic carbon that targets chlorine and chloramines. The dual filtration also features Ion-Exchange that filters heavy metals like lead and mercury, and the Absolute Sub-Micron Mechanical Filtration captures asbestos and chlorine resistant cysts like cryptosporidium and giardia. Designed with a brilliant white-colored filter housing, this Aquasana Countertop Water Filter System is NSF Certified and is easy to install, replace and maintain.
