Hydronix CB-25-2001 20" Carbon Block Water Filter 1 Micron

The Hydronix 20" Carbon Block Water Filter (Hydronix CB-25-2001) is a carbon block cartridge replacement built for all kinds of uses. This 20" water filter is made from high purity coconut shell carbon, an effective safeguard against the impurities that may be found in water. It can also be used in a variety of locations, including food services, commercial and industrial sites, as well as in residences as whole house filters.

This coconut water filter boasts a 1 micron rating and the ability to reduce many impurities from drinking water by removing odor, improving taste, and even reducing unwanted contaminants like carbon fines, chlorine, and dirt. These filters will also replace GAC filters (Granuar Activated Carbon) and PAC (Powdered Activated Carbon) filters for instances where chlorine amounts need to be reduced.

The Hydronix CB-25-2001 can be used as a replacement for the following filters, though note that the following have 5 micron ratings: Liquatec CB-250-20-05, Pentek 155529-43, Pentek EP-20 and Watts MAXETW-20.

I can't tell any difference between this filter and the non carbon filters. Both allow Iron staining, so why pay three times more for nothing?
