Collected by Trustpilot.comI have been a customer of Skuttle for many years now. They was the only ones who made a filter that fit my custom heating/AC unit. The price was about the same as the old ones I always purchased, however they changed something in this model of filter. It seems more flimsy now, and did not fit, even though it had the exact same specifications as the old filter. I can overlook the flimsy part, since these are not meant to last forever, however it has to fit. If I have to modify a filter by cutting and adjusting it myself, then it needs to be cheaper. Cheaper product, cheaper price.

Frankly, I never paid much attention to the air in my various homes and apartments (I am 70 years old and I have lived in a quite a few cities, states and homes and apartments) until I replaced an air-handler in my current home that uses a MERV 8 FILTER. Now, for the first time, I DO notice the air - and I like it.
