The Katadyn Virustat Filter Replacement Cartridge Kit (8011555) is designed for use with Katadyn MyBottle water bottle purifiers. It is also a compatible replacement water filter for previous model Katadyn Exstream and Katadyn Exstream XR water bottle purifiers.

This kit contains complete Virustat replacement filter parts for the Katadyn MyBottle and the Katadyn Exstream water purifier bottles. This kit includes an advanced Katadyn Virustat replacement filter cartridge as well as a pre-filter and cyst filter to reduce particles, sediment, dirt, protozoa, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities.

This Katadyn water filter replacement cartridge works in three filtration stages: (1) it reduces large particles and odors; (2) it reduces cysts; and (3) it reduces and eliminates bacteria and viruses with the iodinated resin Virustat filter.

The Katadyn Virustat replacement cartridge is EPA registered. The Virustat cartridge will remove over 99.99% of waterborn cysts and protozoa, 99.99% of waterborne bacteria, and 99.99% of waterborne viruses. It is recommended that you change the Virustat cartridge after approximately 26 gallons or 150 water bottle refills, while the cyst and pre-filter should be changed when the water flow becomes constricted.
