- Locate your home's thermostat, set the mode to "OFF" and set the fan to "AUTO".
- Open the door to your AprilAire air purifier and remove the old Filters Fast® Replacement for AprilAire 213 filter that's currently installed.
- Prior to installing the new Filters Fast® Replacement for AprilAire 213 filter, ensure the air flow arrow points toward the HVAC unit.
- Align the entry points on the filter with the top and bottom of the cabinet, and push the filter into the cabinet. Then, close the air purifier.
- Return your home's thermostat to its original settings.

Collected by Trustpilot.comThere is a quality control issue with this product. The criss cross cardboard holding the filter media in place is loose and sagging. It catches on the bars inside the Aprilaire device causing it to hang up . This makes it extremely difficult to remove the old air filter and install the new one.
