The GE FXWTC is the correct replacement for the GE GXWH04F Water Filter Cartridge. The GE FXWTC improves the taste and clarity of your drinking water by reducing sediment, chlorine taste/odor, sand, soil, silt, rust, and more. The GE FXWTC water filter also features carbon-wrapped construction and measures 10 inches in length.

The GE GE FXWTC SmartWater Household Sediment compatible water filter is the replacement water filter for the GNWH08C, GXWH01C, GXWH04F, GXWH08C, and the GXWH20F GE SmartWater filtration systems. The FXWTC filter can be used as a direct replacement for the WHCF-WHWC or as an upgrade for the GE FXWSC and FXWPC filters. This two pack of GE filters replaces the FXWTC, FXWSC, and FXWPC sediment filters.

This GE SmartWater compatible filter features a nominal 5 micron rating for the reduction of chlorine, sediment, silt, rust, and more in drinking water. This GE sediment filter should be replaced every three months or when a significant decrease in flow rate occurs.

How do you install the Pentair C1, 155002-43?

1. Turn off water supply. Press red pressure-relief button (if present).
2. Unscrew housing. Remove large o-ring, wipe clean and set aside.
3. Discard used Pentair C1, 155002-43 filter cartridge. Wash housing with dish soap and warm water using a nonabrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Fill 1/3 with water. Add about 1 tablespoon of bleach and scrub to disinfect. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Lubricate o-ring with clean silicone grease. Change o-ring if any damage cuts or degradation are present. Insert o-ring in groove.
6. NOTE: This step is important to ensure a proper housing seal. Make certain the o-ring is seated level in the groove.
7. Insert new Pentair C1, 155002-43 filter cartridge.
8. Screw housing onto the cap and hand-tighten. Do not over tighten. Make sure cap standpipe slips into cartridge.
9. Turn on water supply. Press pressure-relief button (if present). Check for leaks before leaving installation.
