The Hydronix SWC-25-4010 40" String Wound Water Filter, a 10 micron filter is the same as the Liquatec SWF-25-4010 Filter. This string filter effectively reduces waterborne contaminants and particles like sand, silt, dirt, sediment and scale. Also known as part number SWC-25-4010 and PP filter, this Hydronix water filter has high dirt holding capacity and flow rate. To ensure that you get the appropriate filter for your specific applications, different wound patterns are based on different micron ratings.

Constructed from 100% polypropylene fiber media cord, this string water filter can be used for municipal or well water. Water that is of unknown quality or microbiologically unsafe should not be used without adequate disinfection. This Hydronix string wound filter is perfect for residential and commercial applications. It fits standard size water filter housings requiring a 40" x 2 1/2" media.
