1. Take out the old LT700P filter by pressing the PUSH button on the filter housing and pulling it downward.
2. Gently pull it towards you until it releases and pops out.
3. Before using, check if the rubber o-ring on the filter cartridge is intact and tight to avoid water leakage.
4. Install the new LT700P filter by aligning the tabs on the water filter, with the housing, and pushing in.
5. When popped in, push the LT700P filter all the way up. Close the filter leg by lifting it up until you hear a click.

How do you install the Filters Fast® Replacement for LG LT700P?

1. If the top shelf, which is located below the water filter, is in the highest position, it will need to be removed.
2. Pull the old Filters Fast® Replacement for LG LT700P water filter downward and turn it counter-clockwise to pull it out. Make sure to rotate the filter down completely before pulling it out of the manifold hole.
3. Take a new Filters Fast® Replacement for LG LT700P out of its packaging and remove the protective cover from the o-rings. With the filter tabs in the horizontal position, push the new filter into the manifold hole, rotate it up into place and close the cover.
4. Put the lower door bin back to its original position. Now that the Filters Fast® Replacement for LG LT700P filter is replaced, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants from the system. Depress and release the dispenser pad for cycles of 30 seconds ON and 60 seconds OFF, rather than dispensing continuously.
5. Replace the water filter when the replace filter icon turns on. After replacing the water filter, press and hold the Water Filter button for three seconds to turn the icon light off.
