Pentek makes a great housing - easy to install (thanks to slip-on fittings available at any Home store.) The VIH saved me from having to buy and install another valve. BUT Beware - This is NOT the 'Big Blue' housing. This one takes the smaller filters (2 1/2 inches instead of 4). Wishing now that I would have bought the larger one.
