Maytag Icemaker Water Valve Inlet

The Maytag Icemaker Inlet Valve is a genuine Maytag/Whirlpool valve. Also known as part number 4318047, this icemaker water valve is designed to use on many refrigerator models such as Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, Jen-Air, KitchenAId, Admiral, Amana, Roper, Magic Chef and Sears Coldspot/Kenmore refrigerators that do not feature water in the door. The Maytag Refrigerator Water Valve kit includes: single valve, plastic tubing, fittings and complete instructions for different installation situations. This single solenoid water valve controls water flow to the icemaker.

The new quick connection allows you to cut the retaining nut off of the existing plastic water line and gently push it into the new water valve. To remove, simply depress the ring that the tube slides into.
