Refrigerator Water Valves

Has your refrigerator icemaker stopped working? Before you replace the entire icemaker, check your refrigerator water valve. Over time, sediment and minerals from your water can build up on refrigerator water valves or icemaker water valves, thus preventing water from entering the icemaker or preventing the icemaker valve from closing. As a result, your refrigerator icemaker will either produce no ice or it will overfill the ice cube tray with ice. This is why it is critical to always check water valves for refrigerators.
