We discovered this filter many years ago when we grew tired of the cloudiness of the water after the city flushed hydrants. We use this as a pre-filter to our Big Blue whole house filter. Previously we used a one month filter but it is much easier to have a 6 month filter so we change both at the same time. People think our water tastes good but it didn't before we added the filters to our incoming line. We installed the 2 filters in the basement laundry between the floor joists so I didn't lose any under-sink storage. Works great as any water spilled when changing goes right down the floor drain. Love that my water stays clear and if they flush on wash day I still have whitey tidies!
