The General Air 4506 is an Air Cleaner Door Seal replacement component that attaches to either the plastic or metal door for General Aire MAC-L Air Cleaner unit in order to seal the GeneralAir filter component properly inside. This General Air MACL Air Cleaner with MERV 10 is an effective solution to significantly reduce harmful particulate contaminates so that the indoor air you breathe is much healthier.

The General MAC-L is a media style air cleaner unit that has a MERV rating of 10 and uses a cardboard framed disposable filter. Replacement of the filter media is necessary annually, if you use heating only, and every 6 months if you use both heating and cooling.
