This Pentek EP5-40 Water Filter Cartridge Replacement is a 40 inch carbon briquette water filter replacement for use in many different water filter systems, especially whole house filter systems. The Pentek EP540 is a standard diameter filter (2 1/2") which combines thorough chlorine reduction with efficient sediment removal in a single filter cartridge. It is a compatible replacement filter for the Ametek EP5-40, US Filter FC15581503, and others.

This Pentek filter replacement cartridge uses carbon briquette filter media with additional Pentek Endurawrap technology for a longer filter life and more efficient sediment and chlorine taste/odor reduction. It also reduces rust, sand, silt, dirt, limescale, and other particulates.
