Customer Reviews:
I have been using the GXRGQ aka GXRTQR filter for years but could not find it anymore. I bought a Whirlpool WHKF-IMPLUS and it works fine as a replacement! Just be sure to transfer the screw-in quick connect adapters from the GXRTQ filter body to the Whirlpool filter, and you're good to go.
Collected by FiltersFast.comWhy fix something that isn't broken. Now it takes 2 folks to change the filter instead of one. At my age, getting under the sink to turn the water off and on is a challenge. Do you have any old filters around?
Collected by FiltersFast.comWho ever changed the design of GXRTQR from quick connect to GXRTDR were you have to cut the tubing everytime you change filter is dumb!!!!! What happens when you run out of tubing by cutting it every six months? It's like going backwards in design instead of improving. Why mess with what works. Remember the century old addage? IF IT AINT BROKEN DON'T FIXXXXXXX IT. Bring back the GXRTQ design PLEASE...
