The Filters Fast® A35PR is the compatible replacement for the Filters Fast® A35WPR Water Panel 600, and prevents mold and fungus. The Filters Fast® A35PR is antimicrobial treated on the 2 most inner layers and the 2 most outer layers, and is also an evaporator panel that delivers moisture throughout the air in your home. The wick-style humidifier pad draws in water from the tank and as dry air moves through the wet pad it gathers moisture. The filter also collects lime and other hard water deposits to prevent them from entering the air and settling on surfaces which can be seen as a white dust.

We had our Aprilaire 600 whole-house humidifier installed last season and could never get the humidity above 27% during the entire heating season. Same this year. After purchasing their OEM filters 4-5 times, I found this alternative in my local store. Not only does it cost much less, but immediately we were able to achieve 45% humidity and maintain it. If your Aprilaire OEM filter just can't put out enough humidity, switch to this alternative wicking filter technology. It works so much better. We won't buy another OEM filter ever again.

I have found that the paper replacement panel for the Aprilaire humidifiers put out more moisture than the metal pad. Seems like the paper has more evaporation action.

How do you install the AprilAire 35?

1. Before replacement on all humidifiers, note humidifier control setting and turn dial to the OFF position.
2. Move bypass damper to summer position, and press the tabs at top and bottom and pull cover off base.
3. Clean distribution tray per instructions, and clean scale control insert using vinegar solution.
4. Remove old AprilAire 35.
5. Insert color side up; Inspect the plastic feed tube by gently ?exing it and looking for cracks or signs of wear. Replace tube if it is cracked, brittle, or has been damaged.
6. Re-insert the water panel evaporative assembly and snap the cover back on the connect drain line. If the drain line cannot be cleaned, replace ADHC: (Automatic or Manual mode).
7. Check system operation by turning the knob to TEST. With furnace blower operating, the humidifier will operate for one minute. DO NOT LEAVE IN TEST MODE AS HUMIDIFIER WILL NOT OPERATE.
8. For controls with the change water panel indicator light, turning knob to TEST/RESET will reset the indicator manual humidifier control.
9. Turn on the furnace blower at the thermostat. Set knob to highest setting (may or may not run depending on humidity).
10. Set humidifier control to original position. For bypass, set to appropriate position.

Better prices than my local HVAC shop and never and issue with the product. I’d suggest changing shipping carriers from FedEx as they delayed delivery numerous times and then left the product out in the open in the rain versus under a covered porch.

Great product, environmentally green. Damage is pretty severe, it might fix itself. It's just knowing which one you should get. Luckily my Sr v628 pcv cartridge for the Hot/cold water cross over, has softner and sediment remover.
