How do you install the GE FXHTC?
- Turn off water supply and press red button on housing.
- Unscrew housing; remove old GE FXHTC filter and discard.
- Wash housing with warm soapy water and lubricate O-ring with food-grade silicone grease.
- Remove shrink wrap and install new GE FXHTC filter.
- Reassemble housing and turn on water supply.
- Open faucet for 10 minutes (40 gallons) to flush system, wait 1 hour and repeat 10 minute (40 gallons) flush.
