This is what's in our water:

    Report 1
    Report 2

    Our provider is using chloramines.
Would you recommend some type of solution for our 2/2 apartment please?

We also have a question regarding use of commercial filters for our apartment - CB20-312E by Everpure and DP290 by Aqua-Pure. They both are NSF certified, and CB20-312E removes chloramines. Can we use one of them as a point of entry (WH) filter? And WHY not?

    Thank you!

The biggest problem with whole house (double apartment) filters is making sure the flow rate is adeqaute and that the exhaustion point is monitored so that replacement is done properly. Laundry, showers, dishwashers, etc. will shorten the life of those filters.

If your water is to be aimed at consumption (drinking, cooking, feeding pets/plants), then an RO rated to remove chloramine and VOCs may be a better option.

Yes, NSF rated filters are certified to do as documented, but it is up to the owner to make sure they are properly maintained.
